Heacham Lodge was purchased in 1811 by Martin Davy (Master of Gonville and Caius College 1803 - 1839) as a country retreat. He left it to his sister for her life and then to his successors to the Mastership. When his sister died in 1869 Heacham Lodge became the Master's second home; in 1933 the Trust was passed to the College and the lodge used by the Master and for occasional visits by fellows. The house itself was later sold but the College still manages a farm on the estate.

The records include legacy receipts and accounts; correspondence with Bursary; stamp duty receipts; inventories; notes on history of Martin Davy and Heacham Lodge; photograph album.
