High Elms Farm was purchased from O. Simons for the Perse Trust in 1836. The farms lay partly in Alresford parish and partly in the parish of Elmsted. No award of additional allotments was made in the enclosure award of 1843. At the partition of the Trust in 1879, the farm was retained for the Trust rather than for the School. In 1905 the tithe apportionment of £28.8.6 was redeemed.
