Administrative history

The Development Office, under the direction of a Development Officer, was created by the College Council in 1992, to deal with alumni contacts and to co-ordinate a fundraising appeal. The office was staffed by a Development Officer with a Development Assistant; and from 2000 onwards, an Alumni Officer. The Development Office reports to an Appeal Committee appointed by the College Council. In 2001, a Development Director was appointed.

The Development Office also shares responsibility with the other editors for the production of existing alumni-related publications, The Caian and Biographical History.
