              Newspaper cuttings, posters, leaflets and photographs relating to the Gentlemen of Caius, a group of Caians who challenged the scholars of Kings to a rowing race in Victorian costume; followed later in the year by a challenge to the sportsmen of Oxford to a game of Foot the Ball

              Records of the sporting, literary, debating and musical clubs formed by members of the College. These were with varying degrees of formality and longevity. While most were made up of members resident in the College; others, like the members of the Bargees, continued to meet following graduation.

              Various of the sporting clubs most notably the Boat Club, were financed through the central structure of the Amalgamated Clubs.
