The executors account and the contents of the inventory except for the list of books was published by John Venn at the end of his memoir on John Caius in The Works of John Caius (Cambridge, 1912). The list of books in the inventory was listed and analysed by Philip Grierson, published in the Biographical History, Volume VII, p.509, and by Elisabeth Leedham-Green, Books in Cambridge inventories (Cambridge, 1986).
