Biographical history

The 'patronage acre of the rectory of St, Michael's Coslany, Norwich was conveyed to the College with the adowson in 1441. It originally consisted of 3 roods called "Gundelf's", later "Gonville's", half acre. The estate was sold in 1861 by College order. No deed of sale was kept.
