      Note

      Described the Tutor’s Journal as being “extraordinarily miscellaneous”. Largely seems to be the tuition fees paid to lecturers and so on, but there are other costs such as ‘furniture’ and ‘bedmakers’ recorded in there which must be to do with students’ maintenance costs (CNLB).
